Course Description: Physics II Electricity and Magnetism is designed for those students planning to continue their education in the fields of applied science or engineering. It is assumed these students possess a strong mathematical background and logical thinking skills. This course work is similar to the second semester of a college non-calculus physics course. This course covers electricity, magnetism, and related topics. Laboratory investigations, light and wave theory, and sound are used to reinforce concepts. It is recommended that students taking this course have a B average in the prerequisite course.
